Ethics Question #2

Here is your next scenario.....


There is a train, full of people coming down the track. When you notice that someone you know (you cannot tell who it is just that you know the person) is tied to some of the track up ahead, now you can change the course of the train but the new course would send it over a cliff into the ocean.

So what choice do you make in this situation?


note: there is not enough time to stop the train either way; meaning it will still go over the cliff and it will still run over the person, if the breaks were applied in the beginning.
